My Second Miracle

Many years ago
I had back surgery
I guess it never healed right
As it still was a problem, periodically
It seemed that my hips
And lower back became misaligned
When this happened
I couldn’t walk any of the time
I would have to crawl
Sometimes for two weeks
Until the nerves relaxed
I couldn’t stand upon my feet

I had taken a job that I needed training for
I was to drive three hundred miles away
My back was out so I had a problem
How I was to drive, I could see no way
It was on a Sunday
So to church I went
I had to fall out of the car
For my back was sideways and bent

During the Praise
And Worship time
I lifted my hands
And closed my eyes
I told no one
About what I was feeling
For I knew that only Jesus
Could supply this healing
I worshiped Jesus
With all of my heart
And the fire of the Holy Spirit came
On my head, then down to every part
All of the sudden
My back was straight
I had no more pain
And I felt great
I made the trip
With a problem, none
Then stayed up half the night
Rejoicing at what Jesus had done

God still does do miracles
And I think that this is a key
When I just Praise and Worship Him
His miracle power He sends, down to me.
