Except the Lord Build the House

A scripture poem based on:

Psalms 127:1 Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.

Except the Lord build the house
They that labor, labor in vain
God wants a house
That will hold the latter rain

We can build our own kingdom
But it will not stand
The kingdom that is of value
Is spiritual, built by the Master’s hand

Many people try to build
Something gorgeous, but on sand
It is pleasing to the eyes
But built only, by our natural man

A house built on the rock
Is a foundation that is sure
It will stand the test of time
And will forever endure

We all have many dreams
But are they of Gods will?
Do they bring glory to Him?
Or they just a selfish desire, we want, to fulfill?
