A Choice

It is a choice to know Jesus
It is a choice to follow Him
It is a choice to make Jesus Lord
It is a choice to believe His Word
It is a choice to pray and praise
It is a choice to worship Him
It is a choice to believe what He said
It is a choice by the Holy Spirit, to be led
It is a choice to desire His presence
It is a choice to His glory enter in
It is a choice to serve Him single-minded
It is a choice to follow Him
It is a choice to ignore how you feel
It is a choice to look not, at what you see
It is a choice to walk by faith
It is a choice to believe and receive
It is a choice every second of the day
It is a choice to do things, His way

The Word says choose you this day
Whom that we will serve
It is then a choice that we must make
To follow Jesus, or another road take

No one can make this choice for us
Though they can pray all night long
Until a person decides in their heart
That with Jesus, they must take part

There first has to be a willing mind
Jesus will not force himself upon you
He requires that you ask for Him
To be the Lord of what you do.
