Thessalonians 5:18
In everything give thanks: for this is the will of God.
My mom passed away three years ago October 16, 2004. She was a wonderful person and loved the Lord. She was suffering from heart disease. Every breath that she took many days was a struggle. Now she has found rest, God seen her suffering and gave her relief. Mom is now at peace. No more suffering, no more pain, going home to be with Jesus was her gain. We still miss mom but we are no longer sad, because mom has been healed, and we will see her again one day. Mom lived her life to the fullest, even though she felt bad many days she never let that stop her. She traveled a lot, she said no matter where she was at, if God decided to take her out of this world it didn't matter where she was. She did everything that she wanted to and let God take care of her. She placed her faith in Him and His only Son Jesus until the day she died. Mom got saved late in life the only regret that she had was she didn't do it sooner. We miss her but we know she is happy and free. Mom is in her new home, heaven. With Jesus she will always be happy and free.
In Memory Of Mom
It has been three years today
Since mom went home to heaven to stay
We are no longer sad, because mom is happy and free
To go home with Jesus, is where she truly wanted to be
To get to see God's only Son
Rejoice she would say God's will was done
Through Jesus' blood she was saved
Now thanking Him for the love He gave
Mom no longer knows sorrow or pain
One day soon we will see her again
Mom went to heaven October 16, 2004
To live in her new home on heaven's shores
Mom now strolls the streets of gold
Thanking Jesus for saving her soul
Listening to heaven's beautiful choir
Enjoying heaven her soul's desire
Standing and looking at the pearly gates
Knowing our arrival one day she awaits
I would say mom is listening to Jesus talk all the day long
Praising Him and His Father in a beautiful song
Mom is praising God's holy name
Thanking Him for ending her pain
Mom will cry no more tears
No more will she count down the years
Sitting at Jesus' feet, I can imagine her there
No more worries, never a care
So I know mom is happy and free
Now with Jesus, she will always be

My condolences on your mother. I lost mine just over a year ago. You have expressed yourself so beautifully, and you have honored your mom's life in a wonderful way.
