The Grandmother was getting a little frazzled. The three hours she’d agreed to baby sit the 18 month old and the 4 year old had turn into four hours and the parents called to say that they were still “running a little late.”

She looked at the toddlers and said, “Listen, you two need to go to sleep. You both need a nap and I need my peace of mind!”

The four year old jumped up and said, “Don’t worry, Grandmomma, I”ll find your peace of mind for you.”
She took off racing through the house, opening and closing closet doors, then she raced back and stood in front of her Grandmother.
“Sorry, Grandmomma, I looked everywhere and I didn’t see your peace of mind nowhere!”
Before her Grandmother could speak, she ran to the backdoor and called to her Grandfather,
“Granddaddy, do you know where Grandmomma’s peace of mind is?”

The four year old listened quietly as the Grandmother tried to explain what she was reading about-The Marriage Supper of the Lamb.
The child shook her head and said, “Wow Grandmomma, only God can cook supper for that many people!”

The four year old gave her Grandmother a big hug goodbye.
“I love you Grandmomma, but I like staying at Aunt Gabrielle’s house better than yours. Her dishes don’t break, and she lets us stand on our head in the living room. Bye.”

The Grandmother went to her living room, got in her favorite recliner and started to read.
After a minute, she felt herself drifting off to sleep. Her husband looked in and said, “Well, I see you finally found your peace of mind!”
