Glimpses of My Savior

My Savior gives me glimpses
of His sweet loving touch;
He places them discreetly
in the things I love so much.

From the early morning dew drops
to the rising crimson sun ~
and it’s there again at sunset just
before the night’s begun.

My Savior gives me nudges
to remind me that He’s there ~
I see it in the eyes of folk ~
I feel it in the air.

A hand that’s held in sorrow
or claps with you in joy ~
A voice that speaks so tender
it dispels what could annoy.

I pray His spirit moves me
to act in gracious ways;
That those around would see affects
of Him living through my days.

Then on that special morning
when we meet face to face
I’ll thank Him for the glimpses that
reminded of His grace.

I pray someone sees glimpses
of Jesus in my ways ~
Lord, keep me in Thy service
giving glimpses every day.
