"Hey, Lord?"
LORD!"

"What is it, child?"

"I have to admit it,
Lord; I got a little
spooked, tonight."

"Why, child."

"It was that Bible class I
went to: all that
talk about, You know...."

"What, child."

"You know, Lord:
that, eh.....You know."

"Who, child?"

"You know;
that: whatever it is.
In synagogue, sometimes
we called him Haman.
But, then we ate cookies
at Purim, called
Hamantashan - and,
I felt better."

"Yes, child."

"The cookies were 3 pointed....
like Haman's hat? It
was something like that.
Anyhow, they were really
sweet, and had fruit
in the middle."

[NOD.]

"But, we never,
ever, mentioned that
other........eh, name."

[NOD.]

"We just never said it:
I think it was somethin'
to do with Job."

[NOD.]

"We were very superstitious
about that guy."

"Who, child?"

"Job."

"Why, child."

"'Cuz of that other....
whats'it; You know."

"Ah. I see.
[SILENCE.]
Read My Word, child."

"Yeah. Okay, Lord.

In the world
you will have tribulation;
but be of good cheer,

[PATIENT SILENCE.]
"Go on, My child."

"Okay, Lord:

My sheep hear My voice,
and I know them,
and they follow Me;
......and no one shall
snatch them out of My hand.
[John 10:27-28]

"Okay.
I feel a little better, Lord."

[NOD.]

"Reading Your Word
comforts me, Lord:
like the memory of
eating those
Hamantashan cookies."

[SMILE.]

"I'm glad somebody
told me about
Jesus, Lord."

[SILENCE.]

"I wonder why
some Christians
keep Him to
their'selves: like
a big Secret.
(silence)
That's too bad."

[SILENCE.]

In the beginning
was the Word,
and the Word was with God,
and the Word was God.
He was in the beginning
with God.........
In Him was life,

the light of men.
The Light shines
in the darkness,
