This is something that I wrote January 9, 2004...Now when I wrote it I titled it "Debt Scriptures & References."


I am still asking what season are we in? Debt, Business, Prayer, Forgiveness, Parable, Faith


I Samuel 22:2

"And" every one that was in distress, and every one that "was" in debt, and every one that was "discontented," gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men.

"And" -- Judges 11:3 --- Period of the Judges, Ammonitish Servitude, Jephthah

"was" -- had a creditor

"discontented" -- bitter of soul

II Kings 4:7

Then she came and told the man of God. And he said, Go, sell the oil, and pay thy "debt," and live thou and thy children of the rest.

Nehemiah 10:31

"And" if the people of the land bring ware or any victuals on the sabbath day to sell, that we would not buy it of them on the sabbath, or on the holy day: and that we would leave the "seventh" year, and the "exaction" of "every" debt.

Question -- Food For Thought ......... A Stop Put To It?

A sabbatical was every 7 years like a rest (Deuteronomy 15:9) & those you were in debt with erase your debt or let your debt go (Deuteronomy 15:1-6)

"And" -- Deuteronomy 5:12 -- Saced Seasons, The Sabbatical Seasons, The 7th Day, Solemly enjoined at Sinai

Question -- Food for thought........ How does Sinai relate to this Sinai? Acts 7:30-38 .... I did not say it did.

"seventh" -- Exodus 23:10,11 -- Sacred Seasons, The Sabbatical Seasons, The Sabbatical Year Prescribed

"exaction" -- Deuteronomy 15:12 -- Civil & Social Life, Business Affairs, Borrowing & Lending, Release of Debts every 7 year

"every" -- every hand

Proverbs 22:26

Be not thou one of them that strike hands, or of them that are sureties of debts.
