Psalms 1:1; Psalms 143:3

As I remember, I had friends I could depend on
But as time went by, things got a little strange and
The rules in my life started to change
The soul of humanity is defeated by his selfishness

Trust, honesty and devotion is no
Longer seen in friends
Money appears to be the poison and as a result
Many end up in the deep wide ocean
Tragically, friends are few
Magically this is why my heart grew and as time went on
I met heavens crew; I never knew the importance of this
As I sat with them, I enjoyed the sound of silence
I realized I was bound to have a friend for life
I started wondering about many different things
I realized that friends are important but I also realized that
Friends could rob you of many different things in your life and
So as the years went by, I knew that
My heart grew because my friends were few

Jesus is my Lord and Saviour
But He is also my Friend
