Racism does not only occur amongst people of different colour
It also occurs amongst people of the same colour
It also occurs in our churches
It is very hard for men to admit this but
We know that the Holy Spirit will never lie
Miriam was upset that Moses married a woman from Ethiopia
God did not get angry at Moses; He got angry at Miriam

I’ve seen a white man want a black car
Yet, he did not want a black friend
I’ve seen a black man want a white car
Yet, he did not want a white friend

Both men were caught up in 'hate'
Because they were brought up to
Believe in their own fate
They can't relate and so they try
To dictate each others mind
But they forget about the basic law, that if understood,
They would have no 'flaw' so in the future
They will discover that it is not about the colour of your skin
But that it is about being human
It is about loving someone else as you love yourself

Let us not be like Miriam because God got angry
