From its unseen home is unleashed
And creation gropes and stumbles

I see hand made monuments:
Mountains of glory
Fountains of mortality

The unabated fury of the passionate mind
The hidden glory of madness
The tears of undying strength

The hope of sands and clay
With a fragile womb of torment
Yet strong as brass with a will

The fury of the sword with its endless thirst
The path of the gentle wind of dusk
Of the unseen angels of peace

The confined sphere of darkness
With the buried glory of the dead
Monuments of power and creativity
Below the dark arm of rapacity
Ancient envy, untold cruelty

Treasures, unspeakable in this world
Where hollow words of dark boastings
Enshroud in futility

Who will be left standing?
What will be left standing?
What foundation will dare contend?

When the fire of the Ancient Of Days roars
From the depth of unsearchable strength and dominion
To consume uncleanness from His Feet and Throne

Hear O sons of men
What will we have before the One?
Is it the glittering shell of the dream

The world has poured its passion on
To adorn with priceless gems
That perish at the seashores?

Hear! it is our work with the Lord:
A garment of shame or glory
A testimony that stands after the eternal fires
