Why is it when I try to write,
I am often misunderstood?
Is it because I settle for
Not the best but just what's good?
I decided I’ll issue a challenge,
To all who read this word by word
To see if their thinking process,
Has by this exercise been stirred
The coming line is confusing,
But you’ll respond to the task.
My second question was it an answer?
Is the third question I will ask.
Have you come to a decision?
Is my question number four.
But before you give your answer,
May I ask one question more?
I believe you are still with me,
Though now I may be in a fix,
Do I deserve from you an answer?
Is my question number six.
I assume you’ve answered my questions
So some brainpower you have used,
Then I’ll ask you number seven
Are some of you still confused?
I’ve nearly finished this poem,
Which in fact has been a test.
Friends number eight is this,
Which question did you like the best?
