Holy One, with face so fair,
I long to see You true;
You hold my fear, with my care,
I desire none but You;

You came to me, to heal the breach,
Torn asunder by the Curse;
With heart to save, long arm to reach,
Your heart for me so bursts;

May all my thoughts be of my Lord,
To purify my heart;
Lead me by Your Spirit and word,
And let Your grace impart;

Hold me fast through this long night,
With Your love and grace;
Complete my weakness with Your might;
Until I see Your face.

I will be Yours, as You promise,
And thus Your work of art;
Crafted by trial to be Your finest,
For You hold me by the heart;

Let Your chisel be of Your Spirit,
For I am borne above;
I choose Your voice with wish to hear it,
Just shape me through my love.
