Through burning tears
I could not see...

That I was not forgotten.

Through the solitary dark in my mind
I could not feel...

That I was not alone.


When I had no words
To pray...

Prayers reached Heaven for me.

When I did not believe
In love...

Love found me.

Then one day,
With clearer vision...

I could see
A purpose for my life.

An unseen hand
Lifted me out of my darkness...

And gave me the light of hope.

God's still, small voice
Called to me out of my confusion...

From remnants of courage
Within my soul...

I answered the call.

Embraced life.

And found joy.
