In The Willows
In graceful arms that softly sway
Sweet angels strum gold harps they play.
True harmony, I can clearly find
Closing my eyes, to see with my mind.
Within the willows are the dreams
Of many who have crossed the streams
To reach the trees that silently weep
Now holding our secrets in their keep.
Among the willows long and green
Where time is joyful and serene
Shadows dance upon her ground
Where winds of enchantment can be found.
The willows kindly wave and greet
All the souls that come to meet
At a place where they can rest or hide
Wanting to be protected inside…
Inside the branches of this tree
Are moments of tranquility.
It is here where I begin to pray
Within the arms that softly sway.

Within the arms that softly sway.".. What a soothing picture--of swaying in the branches of this willow tree, so beautifully pictured at the beginning of your poem. I used to, as a kid, love to climb trees, so I can vividly picture being snuggled up in a weeping willow tree, just bing swayed softly in the arms of Jesus. ... I just loved this, Julie.
