Lord, I can’t fathom, I don’t understand
Why pain has to come from the churches own hands.

Those with the most faith, seem to proclaim
And then they turn and cause sorrow and pain.
Does that make it okay when done so in Your name?

Church awaken, Church it’s time to arise!
Look around you and open up your eyes!

There is hurt beyond these cold walls,
It’s time for these walls to finally fall.

Those plastic smiles that you are hiding behind,
Church awaken it is now time!

It is now time to lift up your Defender,
It is now time for humbled surrender.

Time to fall down and look beyond “us”.
Time to focus on the service of Jesus.

Time is now to share with those who aren’t free
Time to seek forgiveness for our complacency!

Church awaken, Church it’s time to arise!
Look around you and open up your eyes....POWERFUL WORD! Everyday we are drawing closer to the return of Christ. It is time to awake and be about our Father's business.

Amen Dannette, the church must awaken if they are going to make a change in this world. God has sent His Son to save the world and not to CONDEMN it as it says in John 3:16-For God so loved the world that He GAVE His only BEGOTTEN Son, that whoever believes in HIM should NOT perish but have everlasting life. (17) For God did NOT send His Son into the world to CONDEMN the world, but that the world THROUGH Him Might be saved. Ps 2:7-I will declare the decree: The Lord has said to Me, You ae My Son, Today I have BEGOTTEN You. (8) Ask of Me and I will GIVE You the nations for Your inheritance and the ends of the earth for Your possession. Blessings, Sharon
