If They Are God’s People
Why Do Men Fear
In this life God’s people should be striving for Heaven, for God, and his Word, but instead they commit themselves to the controlling spirits of religion. Man is an alien in this world and they must finally realize that it will be said for God I live and for God I die.
Man fear God in the wrong way. God is not the tyrant that some think. All that a man will do in his life brings about his sorrows and they do not have to be wrong. Wrong will find one, but they must make a conscious choice for what is right. It takes all kings of people to make up the world but you do not have to be the wrong kind.
Judas Iscariot was a thief, but he walked with Jesus as one of his disciples, but Jesus had need of him. God does not come in the Earth realm and do a thing; he uses what is in the Earth. He used dirt in the Earth to form a man and dirt is what man will do without the Spirit of God ruling in his heart. God knows man and what he will do, after all he created mankind. Judas was with Jesus because he needed to know Jesus, where he would be, and all of his habits. Had he not known this pertinent information how else could he be used to betray the Son of God. It was a set up for God’s glory. There are many that will say they are soldiers in the army of God, but for what purpose are they serving.
Men fear the wrong things; words, what someone is saying about them, what someone thinks of them, who it is that hates them and if they will lose their earthly possessions. These rudiments of the earth they fear losing has no value as compared to their souls which will live eternally in Heaven or Hell. Hell has been enlarging itself from its inception with Satan and all of the fallen angels that followed him.
However if they are God’s people then they need not fear what man can do them, but have a reverential awe of who God is and what he can do. God will fight for his called, anointed, and his chosen surrendered vessels, so why do man fear? Man plants seed in the ground and all the time the harvest is not so pleasant for it is written that whatsoever a man sows he will reap. Planted seeds do come up sooner or later. A soldier in the army of God lays down the Word of God, which is the Law that man should live by and follow.
