Matthew 6:24
No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

Mammon is defined as riches. As children of God we must choose to follow God. Not to chase after the world, and all the material things it has to offer.I choose to follow God, He has blessed us with great riches, the main one being His only Son Jesus Christ dying for our sins. He has blessed us with a wonderful family, and He meets our every need. I am very rich but not of material things, but because of God's love. He takes care of our needs, shelter, food, clothing, and provides us with a warm place to sleep. God is with us every minute of the day, I couldn't ask for anything more. God loves us and has never failed to meet our daily needs. God is great praise His holy name.

I Am Rich

I am rich because of God's love
And because of His blessings from above

I am rich but not of material things
Because of His love that makes my heart sing

I am rich by the blood Jesus shed
And because of the crown of thorns He wore on His head

I am rich by the blessings God has given to me
My number one blessing being Jesus set my soul free

Jesus saved my very soul
Praise God He made me whole

I am rich but not of any wordly things
It is of the joy that fills my heart that God's love brings
