Faith’s indeed a divine gift
Given from above;
Meant to heal a sin-borne rift;
Healed by His love;

All have it; not just His own;
All look for things believed;
By it, His will could be known,
Or be kept deceived;

Faith is finite, like a seed,
As the Son had taught us;
For this life, it’s our need,
To raise us from sin’s dust;

Paul had said, “Now abide,”
With hope and love; those three;
With these gifts, we can ride
The taunts and tests we see;

Yet faith, like hope, is for “now;”
For now is when we need them;
After this life, out they bow,
But Love’s with us in heaven.
