For those who are weary
Whose days are dark and dreary
Whose hearts are full of fury.
Jesus can give you what you need
He promises to never leave
You just need to trust his lead.
He is the gentle breeze that
Guides you safe and sound
As gently as a feather floating
Softly to the ground.
He is the whisper in the
Early bird’s morning song
Reminding you to seek Him
When days are going wrong.
He is the radiant sunshine
Enveloping you in its heat
He is the path less traveled
The only way eternity leads.
He is the most fragrant flower
Just preparing to bloom
He will come as a rose
And He is coming soon.
He is a gentle summer shower
Falling from the sky
Moistening the ground that is
Cracked, parched, and dry.
He is the rushing river
Smoothing the jagged stones
Just like He removes the harshness
When I feel I’m all alone.
He’s the everlasting fountain
Daily renewing grace
He keeps my life flowing;
And an eternal resting place.
