Jumbled in this web of existence,
Distressed, discouraged, and frayed
Craving composure,
Longing for Jesus
To draw the binding glue together.
Capturing my distress,
Within his bleeding compassion,
Seeing the tears he weeps beside me.
Perplexed with the heartbreaking effects of this existence,
Closing eyes,
The cross standing silently
Soothing my unsettled soul
Jesus,
Binding glue of my existence
Takes control.
