Author requests article critique

Wash me anew Jesus
Purify my putrid insides
Cleanse away my discrepancies
Crack me and shape me
Humble me to my knees.
Lord, show me your ways
Replace my wretchedness
With your everlasting grace.
Provide me stillness,
Train me to be a gentle
Reminder of your
Empathy and mercy.
Blind me from the things
Of this world
Which I should not witness.
Uncover my faults,
One by one show me
What I need to shine
In your magnificence.
