Holy Spirit, Fill Us
Holy Spirit fill us, we need more of You
Consume our hearts with Your Holy fire
Light our flames and erase all the shame
That keeps us from living God’s desire
When we became children of the King
You poured Your liquid love in our souls
But oftentimes the newness wears away
We let the world slowly fill our God holes
Holy Spirit, come and saturate our being
Teach us God’s ways and direct our path
Renew inside us a clean and willing heart
To know the love of God, never His wrath
Reveal to us God’s majesty and His glory
Bring to light the wisdom we so search for
The deep things of His purposes and plans
Use our lives to glorify our Lord forevermore……
I Corinthians 2: 9-12 KJV
But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.
