I WON’T BE SILENT ANYMORE!

I can’t be silent anymore.
Cause my God’s been too good to me
I look around and I see
The earth and its beauty,
The fish of the sea, the birds of the air,
Even the insects that so frustrated me.

I can’t fathom why he chose this vessel.
Oh to be used by thee.
And believe me I’ve wrestled
To do my will and not his.
But in my heart always felt this longing
To be closer to him
For I too, have many faults and shortcomings.

I think we call issues,
For I have used many tissues
To stop those tears
That flow so freely down my face.
Oh I’m not sad cause I’ve chosen to run this race
Because I know that it is only by his grace
As I stay in his face
That I can stay at this pace.

For without him, I am nothing.
Simply dirt, unformed, easily harmed
And charmed
In to believing that I have the answers
To life’s questions.

But he said,
That if I made the choice
To follow his voice
And rid myself of all the noise
That surrounds and distracts
My attention from his plan,
For my life
He would lead me by the hand.

And never leave me by myself
For he is my present help.
And I’ve never felt
Like this before
Cause I know that he loves so much
Gentle as a mother’s touch.

But it’s simple to understand
Why this man
Named Jesus Christ
Died to pay the price
For my sin.

That’s why I can
No longer hold my peace,
Remain silent.
I’ve got to release,
This passion, this fire
That burns so deeply in my soul.

For I know,
That if I don’t
Others won’t
Tell you about who he is
And that life only begins
When you become his
And not your own
See then, heaven becomes your home.

You see,
Satan knows
that you don’t have long
To keep doing wrong
Cause I have been chosen for such a time as this.
And yes, you are on my list,
For I would be remiss
If I didn’t share this great gospel with you, Miss.

So now, I refuse to
Remain silent about this news that
Jesus saves yes
He’s one of my faves but
I’m always amazed at
How many remain so
Entangled in sin or
Ignorant and stagnant in
their walk with you.

So I commit to
You O’ lord my
Will for I can’t
And I won’t be
Silent anymore!
