Step by Step
Step by step, Lord, every day
Walking more and more in your way
I know I have many miles to walk yet
But it is upon Your path my feet are set
Each day, Lord, brings me closer to you
Keep my feet stable on the path that is true
Every single day I put one more foot forward
Each step closing the distance to my great reward
Though the path is stable upon My Rock
My travel this world will always try to block
But greater in me, than all those in this world
I can continue to sail forward with my sails unfurled
I know that I can never walk this path alone
Lighted by the Lamp unto my feet the Way is shown
Through my own weakness I will sometimes fall
Each time I am lifted again by my All in All
Placing one foot in front of the other
Strengthen by the One who sticks closer than a brother
Forward I go, focusing only upon the prize
Traveling, keeping Jesus the focus of my eyes.
Brothers and Sisters,
We all travel many paths in this world to reach a destination, but there is only one Way and the path is straight and narrow.
As I continue on my journey of growth through trial after trial, I give praise to God! He is worthy to be praised in all things. I used to use this quote freely and without thought once upon the time. Now as I put one more foot forward I have another Scripture/Life application. This has been the most trying time of my life (and my family's). If it had not been for the Lord we would have fallen and given up a long time ago.
It is God that lights the path. It is God that gives us strength to carry on. It is by Christ that we can walk, though our bodies may stumble, our spirit is secure in the Lord. That part has already been complete, we must focus on the prize.
Paul said that "I have fought the good fight." I urge each of you to continue to train for the race so that you will win. Continue to fight the good fight. Keep Jesus the focus and you will be the victor.

With this as your anthem you will nothing to fear.
God bless you and your family and know that though the enemy continues to attack,he will not win. However, never underestimate him and his angels. Keep steadfast in prayer and walking with Jesus all the way.
