Am I Your Child

Lord, am I Your child?
Have I done Your will?
Do my angels report to You
Just what I feel?

Times are so hard,
People are too,
Trials come in droves,
I run to You.

You said You’d see ~
That You’d always care,
Some nights are so dark
I’m not sure You’re there.

Help me to stand
Clear to the end,
Help me to know
I don’t have to bend.

For I want to remain
Faithful and true;
Always in love
With the goodness of You!
