Storms from the north, turbulence from the south, floods from the east , arrows from the west and the sound of a crashing world in our ears.A time when grey clouds gather and the sun shine is blocked.A time when quivering lips , a broken heart and a tear stained face is the painting of the day.
A season of weeping ,”Take this cup from me Lord” It is too much to bear.My heart is fainting within me and sorrow is my meal.Tears for a pillow and sadness for a blanket.Tomorrow will be a better day and yet it does not change. Maybe the next .Oh no , still no change .If only I could a glimpse of a better day.
Herein lies the truth of many lives and their experiences of hurt and brokenness from day to day .We are always waiting for a better tomorrow . Know this , do not worry about tomorrow , tomorrow will take care of itself as each day has enough troubles of his own.Tomorrow is not an option for change when we are always faced with today.


When Job looked in every direction , he saw the storms and the wind beat heavily against his heart.Shadrach Meshach and Abednego stood still as the flames raged around them.
Daniel prayed with teeth flaring at him in the face.Jesus laid bare ,crucified,rejected and alone.In all of these heart wrenching trials, the children of God came out bigger,better and stronger.

Maybe your storm is an estranged husband, your fire is a dreaded disease,your lion is a rebellious child ,your cross is a dissatisfying job , whatever it is ,the end result is God’s children will come out bigger,better and stronger.

Take heart , Jesus still sits on the throne and keep focused on him.He will deliver you and not allow you more than you can handle.Acknowledge God as the author and perfector of your faith who is faithful to bring to pass what his word has promised to do. Is your faith been shaken and is the crashing of the world deafening you ,know that God is present .Though you sow in tears, you reap in joy.

He promises to turn your ashes to beauty and your sorrows to joy.He promises to destroy the darkness and return the sunlight. In the winter of your life,He is your sustainer and strong tower.Be patient , wait , be still ,you pray and let God act.You seek his face and his hand will be extended.On the other side of today, lies an image crafted in the very image of God.Consider yourself clay defined in the fire to bring forth its beauty. There will always be storms,there will always be fire but you will never be the same.On the other side of this trial lies a destiny that needs to be unfolded and these distractions want you to take off your eyes from the mark.When you take your eyes off the obstacles , you focus on the mark.

I know you are hurt and the pain seems unending but importantly God knows as well and he is your redeemer kinsman where the battle is his and the victory is yours. Trust him for today and tomorrow and you will come out bigger, better and stronger.Tell the world , don’t see me now, see me when I get there.
