My Hope

When you spoke, you spoke to me
When you heard, you heard me
When you touched, you touched me
When you sang, you put it in my heart
When you hurt, it was my pain
When you erased it, you erased it all
When you healed, you healed from within
When you forgave, you forgave all
When you held me, you held me close
When you wrapped you arms around me ,
you shut off the whole world and gave your Love to me,
And shut the door behind you
and opened the one in front of you,
So your Love could flow freely out of me.

So with all you’ve done for me,
My hope is you’ll always be flowing freely out of me
So when I speak, it will be you that’s heard
And when I hear it will be you I hear
And when I touch, it will be you that is felt.
And when I wrap my arms around someone,
Your Love will flow in them
leaving what you left in me,
So on and on it will travel through all you see
Until the circle’s complete
Beginning and ending
With you and me.
