The Darkness

Have you ever been in total darkness?
The kind that you can actually feel
When it feels as if it is closing in
Unable to see anything at all

The darkness that drowns all hope
Leaving you alone in your fear
Your breath is clipped and short
Panic sinking in as you enter despair

A darkness that brings your fear alive
When imagination starts to run wild
Standing there with only yourself
Isolated from all of the world

Darkness is the absence of light
It is a void that must be filled
A kind of dark that absorbs sound
A kind that drains on your life

There is a hope for this darkness
It is a hope that is alive and well
In absolute darkness there is a cure
A promise upon which you can stand

The smallest shaft of light shines bright
So little can do so very much
Turning black into shades of gray
How much more with the Light of the World?

The Light can fill that void
He can restore your blinded sight
Restoring the hope that was lost
Shining bright just for you

Do not give into the hopeless dark
In the darkness His Light shines brightest
For greater is He who is in you
Than those in this world

Reach out with your heart
And receive the Light
Step into His warm embrace
Be renewed in His grace

Let go and let Jesus reign
Be restored in the Light of hope
There is no price to pay
Receive the gift of hope for free…



To All,

This is a message for the soul that God has led to read this today. There is hope! Jesus Christ is the Savior! Through His atoning sacrifice on the cross, you have been freed from the darkness of this world. You are free from the bonds that chain your heart. Even as we were sinners, He first loved us. That includes you! Who you are and what you have done is not too much for His grace.

This message is to those that are in the darkness. It is to the prostitute, the gambler, the drunk, the addict, the user, the abuser. His grace is sufficient for the pimp, the dealer, the killer, the molester, and the monster. There is nothing that you can do that can remove His love for you. His grace is sufficient!

There is a heart that is reading this that needs to know that Jesus loves you and wants you just as you are. All you have to do is accept the gift of grace. No strings, no catches, no work, no payment required. Exchange your burden for His and be restored.

“God so loved the world that He gave His only Begotten Son, that WHOEVER believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved. He who believes in Him is not condemned; but he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. And this is the condemnation, that the light has come into the world, and men loved darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil. For everyone practicing evil hates the light and does not come to the light, lest his deeds should be exposed.” John 3:16-20

There is nothing done that not is known by God, but there is nothing done that God’s grace cannot forgive except grieving of the Holy Spirit. If you are the one in the darkness, I beg come into the light and be forgiven.

Do not be condemned by those in this world that tell you that your aren’t good enough or clean enough to come to Jesus. Don’t be dissuaded from the truth by those tongues that speak lies. Even those who are “religious” do not have the power to prevent you from coming to Christ. If a church tells you that you aren’t good enough for the Lord, then know that no one is righteous, not a one. There is no stain of sin that the Blood of Jesus cannot wash clean. The cost of your sins has already been paid in full on the Cross.

Give your heart to Jesus. Accept the gift of grace. Call on the Name of the Lord and be saved. With all your heart accept that Jesus died for you and rose again so that you may live.

So a prayer if you must, but the Word says that whosoever believes shall be saved. You are a whosoever and all you must do is believe. Believe and be saved. I beg to you with all of my heart, come to Him.
