I Need You...

...if you have years in the Lord, I need you with your wisdom and example. I need to learn and exemplify.

...if you're newly re-born. I need to remember the newness of my relationship with the Lord, along with the excitement and sense of expectancy. I even need to remember how I didn't know much then; just that I am saved. I need to teach.

...if you're stumbling. You remind me that I can fall, as well. If I give you counsel and hope, it's also for me. I need to be patient with you and weep with you.

...if you are unruly and disobedient. It is my opportunity to warn you with loving patience. This is my chance to be like my Father and delight in extending mercy.

...if you are faint-hearted. In my chance to uphold you, I see how I need to be upheld. I am grateful to our Father for the empowering us to uphold one another, for I am often faint-hearted.

...if you are unforgiving. Here is my chance to pray for you, for maybe you don't know God's forgiveness. This is my chance to grieve for you.

...if you are immature. You are my opportunity to bear with you and those like you. You remind me what I can be like.

I need each and everyone of you, regardless of where you are in Him. I need you to exercise grace, mercy and love. In my realizing how I need you all I am made happy, for you are all given to me from my loving Father, simply for my need's sake. You are all my chance to be like Jesus, who is the Head of us all.
