I took another walk today
under a lowering sky
and wondered at what I saw and heard
that lifted my spirits so high

I felt the air so fresh and cool
and heard the birdsong so clear,
it was as if God were telling me,
I want you to draw near.

I saw His touch in each blade of grass,
each flower nodding there,
and knew that I was safe in His hands
being blessed by His loving care.

It is the same when I think of you;
my heart just wants to soar,
for I know our love was sent by God
how could I ever want for more?

I want to spend each minute of the day
rejoicing in loving you,
and praising God for giving me this gift
of our love so deep and true.

How wondrous that we have a loving God
who places reminders of Him all around,
so I will live each moment with joy
blessed with a love that is so profound.

My hope that is in every moment
as each hour of the day passes through,
that I can begin over and over again
to tell you how much I LOVE YOU!!
