A dad is one who is loving and kind,
who is strong and gentle all the time.
He is someone who has a listening ear
who you can talk too without fear.

A dad is always proud of you
and will be there to see you through.
He can tell when you have a need
and will show up with great speed.

A dad is as proud of you as any one
and will boast of what you have done.
You can count on him to be there for you
and to support you whatever you do.

A real dad will always be around
to pick you up when you fall down.
He is the best friend you ever had
that is why he is called dad!
