I Betcha

I betcha up in Heaven there’s the sweetest manger scene,
I bet they have a Christmas tree right there on golden streets!
I bet a golden stable bedecks the hills of Home....
And little lambs are so behaved ~ they never want to roam....

I bet the angels sing the song they sang out on the hills,
And wonder that not everyone believed their story’s thrill;
I bet God makes a special way to give that star a shine
Even in a land where it is daylight all the time!

I betcha in the eyes of God, a special sparkle’s there,
And all around, we feel the breeze of angels winnowing the air;
I betch all the little ones are quiet as can be
To hear the soft sweet cooing of the little baby king!

I betcha no one ever says, “Now, take that thing away!”
For every soul will know the blessed truth of Christmas Day...
And God won’t care a bit if we just leave it all year round!
He knows His great big heart (right there) is plainly to be found!
