Saturn or Earth?"

"Neither, child. I am The Creator."

"Well, You know what I mean,
Lord. Earth and Saturn are so
different; I bet Saturn's been
tougher to keep up - what with
those big rings, and all."

[CHUCKLE.]
"No, My child! Earth has been
the far most difficult."

"Oh, what is it Lord, all this
global warming? Yeah, that's
been in all the scientists' minds
lately. In fact, in San Antonio
today, the temperature was...."

"Your city is a warm climate,
My precious."

"Still, it can get pretty hot here.
One July, I remember it was
112 degrees, and folks were outside
in the street frying bacon and eggs."

"Bacon?"

"I thought You weren't Kosher
anymore, Lord?"

[SMILE.]
"Child, My earth has a far more
difficult problem - one which
threatens its destruction,
moment by moment."

"What is that, Lord: those
stupid reality shows? Yeah,
I know - they almost make
You long for LOST, again,
don't they?"

[SMILE.]

"So, what IS it, Lord; The
cost of paper towels?
Yeah, it's ridiculous; even
the ones at Walmart are
priced like they've got
gold thread in 'em.
Then, you go home
with it, and wipe the
toilet."

"No, My beloved."

"OH! OH! I KNOW
WHAT IT IS, LORD!
I KNOW! I KNOW!
WAIT! LISTEN!
LISTEN; it's DUST!
The dust on top of ceiling fans
- that's it, isn't it?"

"You enjoy trying to make
Me smile, little one."

"Well, Lord?
What IS it?
the cost of those
d....darn ink cartridges
for your printer? I
think that alone is going
to be the undoing of mankind,
Lord."

"I am speaking of sin, child.
It has been a weight on My
Heart, since Adam's Fall."

"So, I guess compared to
THAT, the work of keeping
Saturn's rings up has been
sort of, like, a cupcake, huh."

[SMILE. NOD.]

"Well, what is the answer,
Lord? Maybe, we should
all get up and dust off
the top of Earth
a bit more - now and then."

[SAD SMILE.]
"No, My precious."

"WHAT, then?"

"It is Me."
