So the people shouted,
and the trumpets were blown.
....the people raised a great
shout,
and the wall fell down flat...

You doing up there;
can You help me
fix this toilet?"

"What are you doing,
My child?"

"What does it look
like I'm doing, Lord?
Come on, Lord, FIX
this for me!"

"That was a very reverent
prayer, little one."

"I'm sorry. I'll
pray better, later.
I promise.
Can You just FIX this,
right now? PLEASE?"

[SILENCE.]

"DARN THIS THING!
WHAT IS IT WITH
THESE LOW FLUSH
TOILETS?
D.....DARN!"

[WATCHFUL SILENCE.]

"Come on, LORD!
Send down one of those
billions of angels You got!
What are they are doing,
up There, anyway?"

"Working for ME, child."

"Where's Michael?
Send HIM down."

[SMILE.]
"You are doing fine,
My beloved."

"OY! This is driving
me CRAZY! Oh,
forget about it.
I'll come back to
it, later."

[One final frustrated
plunge.
Toilet flushes.]
"Hey, thanks, Lord!
YAY! PRAISE YOU,
LORD! YAY!
PRAISE THE LORD!
[Silence.]
See what I can do,
Lord? See how
far I've come?
Isn't this great?"

"What can you do,
child, without Me?"

"Well, Lord, I mean,
I WAS the one doing
all the plunging......
I mean, I have to
get SOME credit...."

"Who is beside you,
child, in all things?"

"You, Lord.
You?"

[NOD.]

"Except, I think
there's just too
many low flush toilets
in life, Lord.
And, I'm getting worn out
with all this plunging."

"So, lean on Me,
child. Just lean
on Me."

....even if you say to this mountain,
Be taken up, and cast into the sea,
it will be done.
And whatever you ask in prayer,
you will receive,
if you have faith.
