Happy Birthday Mom

My Dear sweet wonderful momma
Born on May 13th
Today, if you were with me
It would be a birthday dream

Happy Mothers day my momma
And a happy birthday too
Up there in Gods big country
I know without a doubt
That you've been made brand new

All the wonderful thoughts of you Mom
Is the light that never grows dim
I carry you with me daily
As I walk the trail with Him

Your hand held my forehead, as my stomach twirled and churned
All the comfort in the universe was in your hands, I’ve learned
You’re gone on to be with Jesus
In that milk and honey land
When I was a little girl
That big book to me your read

Someday I will come and join you
When the rapture sounds I hear
Sometimes when I’m down praying
I feel your presence near

I honor you dear mommy as Mothers Day appears
All the reason for my reasoning
All the faith in God above
Came from you, my momma, when you taught me
About Jesus and his love

You taught me all about him
About Jesus you did sing
And church was never a maybe
It was a have to thing

A Mommy is the second best thing
That ever came to this earth
If you are wondering what the first one was
It was Jesus and his birth

Today, May 13th 2007 is Mothers day
Go and see your mother
Do it up in a big way
Make it a celebration of a special kind
Flowers and Candy are not enough
Just embrace your mother, let her know she’s loved

While you’re holding her in your arms
Give her a kiss for me
And while I am on the subject
I am sending a hug your way
To every mother in the world
I wish you a,
“Happy Mothers Day”!!
