Marriage

This morning when I looked outside
there was a haze in the air,
and made the world look like a painting,
a masterpiece that God had made to share.

The air was soft upon my cheek,
the sun just peeking out,
putting a lovely sheen on things,
like a whisper rather than a shout.

I felt God's blessing in that sight,
this wondrous gift from the One I adore,
and felt that I have been given such riches,
how could I ask for anything more?

For I have Jesus as my Savior,
and from Him all blessings come,
and best of all He gave me you,
of all the gifts, you are the best one!

With you my happiness is complete,
the joy each day is new,
and all I want to do all day,
is tell you how very much that I LOVE YOU!
