MOVING FORWARD

“Success is never ending and
failure is never final” (Robert H. Schuller).

Your greatest enemy to success are
the successes you have already achieved. Success is a journey, you never truly
arrive. You just have to keep moving, keep growing and keep achieving. There is
a tendency to get ‘comfortable’ and relax after some achievements, but you
cannot be all that God wants you to be except you keep moving forward.  God
is a dynamic God, He holds your future but you cannot see it all at once. He
said to Abraham,” Walk before me ….”(Gen 17:1). As you keep walking with
God, you keep discovering your great destiny. Mike Murdock said ,” God will
not reveal everything about your assignment at once because He is interested in
a relationship rather than an event”.

God hates stagnation, He doesn’t want you to remain where
you were yesterday. There should be an improvement. Prov 4:18 says , “But the
path of the just  is as a shinning
light that shines brighter and brighter unto a perfect day”. When Israel had
been on the same stop for a long time, God commanded them to move forward.
“The Lord our God commanded us in Horeb, saying, you have dwelt long enough on
this mount: turn you, and take your journey, and go to the mount of the
Ammorites…”(Deut1: 6-7).

Job was a prosperous man whose substance continued to
increase. The devil had this to say about him: “Have not you made an hedge
about him, and about his house, and about all that he has on every side? You
have blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the
land”(Job1: 10).

I love the man Isaac, he moved from one level of glory to
another.” And the man waxed great, and went forward, and grew until he became
very great”(Gen26:13).

Isaac could have stopped at the level of ”waxing great”
but he didn’t, HE WENT FORWARD. After going forward, he would have said,”
That’s it! God has been good, let me stop here”, but he didn’t, he grew
until he became VERY GREAT. One translation said, ”his wealth only continued
to increase”.

I want you to tell yourself that you have not yet arrived.
God is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all you can ever ask or think,
infinitely beyond your highest prayers, desires, thoughts, hopes or
dreams-Eph3:20 AMP. No matter the level you get to in life, if you don’t get
to where God wants you to get to, you have failed. The bigger you get, the more
the devil would be intimidated, God glorified and people blessed. Isaac’s
prosperity did not attract national attention until he became very great.

 Why should you be content with employing one hundred people
when you are supposed to employ one thousand? Why should you stop at impacting
your city when you have the potential to impact your nation or even your
continent?

Never stop reading, when you stop
reading, you start dying. Continue to work hard on your job and maintain the
ethics and disciplines that brought you were you are today. The world has not
yet seen all there is to you only if you would keep moving forward.
