Make the truth of who You are explode in my soul
overwhelm me with your holiness
take me higher
take me home.
The world is closing in on me
in suffocating self
stand me up in Thy power
to face this face of hell.
So many children fallen in the quake of the night
lift me up to lift them up
in the strength of Thy might.

In the power of Thy might
in the strength of Thy love
in the presence of Thy peace
lift your chosen high above
this unholy world
the unjust
the untrue.
Keep us far from death
O, gracious God
keep us in You.
