LOVE IS Accepting a person and circumstances
that may not be comfortable,
convenient, or loving--

Determining to do good to, and be
good for, that person though all
hell oppose it.

Stepping out into nothing and find-
ing God there daily.

LOVE IS Despair with its walking boots on.

Wanting to scream, but whispering
a prayer instead.

Wanting to run away, but not run-
ning a step.

Giving out but not giving up.

Hurting until every tear has fallen
and there's more still.

Laying down your life for someone--
One day at a time--no matter how
long it takes.

LOVE IS
FINALLY Savoring those precious moments now
and again
When you realize that love is its own
sweet reward.

The heart that holds love to the end
may be
Cracked and scarred and worn and not
much to look at--
But I know it will have a place in
God's Great Art Gallery in the sky.
