Etch eternity on my eyes,
And let me see just as You do;
Scrape away the temporal guise,
To perceive as true as You;

Then as I see, let me feel;
Provoke within to shed the light;
Make my passion Your Spirit's keel,
To move alone, by Your might;

By sealed heart, may I speak,
And speak alone as You would say;
By same truth, may I entreat;
Appeal to all, as You would pray;

Of course, I'll speak the truth in love,
By Your strength; solely Your wisdom;
Let me be as Christ above,
Who came down, with Your kingdom.
