Without Jesus


Without Jesus, there’s just darkness in the tunnel
Without Him, we could do nothing at all.
Without His light the world would be dying,
And on whose Blessed name would we call?

Without Jesus, there’s nothing to look forward to,
Without Him, there’s no real need to go on.
Without His warmth and love to cling to,
The chance to live forever with God will be gone.

Without Jesus, is a hard thought to imagine,
Without Him, life would be unnatural not right.
Without His loving arms to protect us,
Alone with evil we’d have to fight.

Without Jesus, our sins would be ours to bear,
Without Him, our souls would also be lost.
Without His sacrifice for us on the cross,
Evil could take our lives without any cost.

Without Jesus, the world would not smell as sweet,
Without Him, the fruits of our labor would sour.
Without His blessing and our praise to God,
We will be left with out His supernatural power.

Without Jesus, there’d be no sun to warm us,
Without Him, no flower could we grow to be.
Without His shining light to guide our way,
From our own sins we could not be set free.
