PERCEPTIONS
I was having a moment of discouragement and I cried out to God in my despair… and below is the Holy Spirit’s response:

Stanza I

I see the glass half full, you see it half empty

I see a beautiful vessel, you see a broken glass

I see a wonderful garden, you see toiled soil

I see an awesome building, you see a construction site

I see Myself in you more and more;

Stanza II

I see strength and power, while you see weakness and inadequacy

I see maturity and growth, but you see pain in suffering

I see total surrenderence, but you see brokenness

I see Myself in you more and more;

Stanza III

You feel disenchanted, out of sorts, confused, uncomfortable, and at disarray,

But you are exactly where I would have you to be… in My will.

You keep thinking of “what if’” and “plan A & B”,

But I am not confused about where you are;

You are exactly where I would have you to be… in My will.

Stanza IV

I simply want you to praise Me and trust Me. Do you trust Me?

Worship Me and I will settle you. I will establish your footing

And ground you in My word. I will reveal Myself to you and

Allow you to see things as I see them. You must simply trust Me,

And keep your hand in Mine.
I will then change your Perception of Me and of everything around you.
