Healing
In a time where I was filled with fright,
I cried on the Church steps late at night.
Reckless, I was in my sinful state
Foolish were my ways; dark was my fate.
Living my old life at soaring speed
Failed… for You are my only need.
My heart in pieces needed a repair…
Restored by the Lord, hearing my prayer.
Unspeakable joy rests in my soul
For my merciful Lord has made me whole.
May my spirit always be found kneeling
At the feet of my Lord, who gave me healing.
Thank you , Heavenly Father.
Psalm 51: 17
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit:
a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
