The Gift
“ But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8

We have all received gifts that maybe were just not for us. Wrong size, did not like it, etc. The gift from God is eternal life through Jesus His son. This gift is the perfect fit for everyone. If you believe Jesus died for your sins you will receive this gift. This gift can not be taken away, however you can choose to give it back. If we, in our stubborn sinful nature choose to go back to our old ways, we are giving this gift back to God. If we do this we will loose all fellowship with God. He will still be there, but He can not look upon us in our sins. It will be as though we washed the cleansing blood of Jesus off of us.

God wants us to have this gift. John 3:16 tells us that God gave us His son, (Jesus), to forgive us of our sins. And John 3:17 tells us why. “ God sent not His son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through him might be saved.” Will you receive the gift from God? Just ask and He will give it to you.

Lord God, I believe you sent your son to die for my sins. I accept Jesus as my personal savior, so I may live with you eternally. I want the gift you have for me in Christ Jesus. Jesus please come into my heart and live within me. Cleanse me from all my sins. Thank you Jesus for dying for me.
