Are You A Witness for Jehovah?

We all know about the Jehovah Witnesses. They go door to door asking people if they would like to have a “bible” study. True, more often then not they get a no, or the door slammed in their face. They do however sometimes get a yes. My point is this: they put themselves out there. They told people about their beliefs. They were as their name implies a witness for Jehovah. Their belief in God is different than what we know to be true, but they do what most modern churches don’t, they witness. Their motives are selfish; they are required to do this to advance within their church. But they still put themselves on the line. How much else should we who know the true God? We were called to take the Gospel to the world, but we don’t. We sit in our churches and pray for the lost, and every now and then they will come in and get saved. Great! But what about all the rest who have not set foot in a church in their lives? They will not come to the saving Grace of Jesus unless they know it is there and why they need it in the first place. We as the body of Christ need to tell them the reason. That unless they turn from darkness to light, give up their sinful ways, repent and ask Jesus to save them, they are going to hell. It has been reported that 140,00 people die each day. How many of these people did not know Jesus? We have to let them know that they are not a good person. For no one is good. That all have sinned and fallen short of the Glory of God, and that if they confess with their mouth Jesus is Lord and God has raised Him from the dead, they will be saved. So, step out. Tell them about Jesus. Pray with them and for them. We have to let them know, we have to be:
A witness for Jehovah.
