HAPPY VALENTINES DAY, MY LOVE

Love comes softly like the forward flight of butterfly wings
It lights inside the center of the heart and listens to it sing
Nurturing the very being of the soul
Staying in love with you forever is my goal

I feel love so deeply when you say “I love you”
The warmth starts inside my heart
And saturates the very depths of me
My lips frame an “I”
My heart reports,
“Love you too”

My thoughts take flight and travel along the edge of infinity
I see Eve as she touches her Adam for the first time
I can hear her say, “He is surely all mine”!
They were afraid, but never alone
Thoughts of the beautiful garden would always linger on

Eden behind them
The whole world in front of them
Touching, loving, sharing, the width of their space
Preparing to run a race
That would last till the end of time

Adam, tilling the rich black soil with his bare hands
Gods plan,
Eve caressing the baby inside her body
That made her feel so special and grand
Gods plan

So my darling, can we touch Gods plan?
My every heart beat pumps to the sound of your voice
My blood circulates for you
It has no other choice
Making a slow winding path into the lining of my heart
The sound of singing warms the flow,
I take on a special glow

Hold me my husband, my darling, my life
Hug me, kiss me, touch me
You made me your wife
Let’s full-fill Gods plan
We can, “Now, do you see”?
Let me love you, kiss you, touch you
While I caress my wedding band

Gods plan is still working after all this time
Man, Woman
His plan is the best and the greatest
Mr. & Mrs. is the sign
Gods Plan is called “Help Mate”
Love can come at any age, young or old, it is never too late
I have to announce to the whole wide world that, “love is just great”!

By the way, “How many times a day can I say those three wonderful words?
“I love you”!?
Happy Valentines Day
