The alabaster box
That held a treasure dear,
Was broken and its fragrance poured
And blended with the tears;

Tears that flowed from brokenness
A life made whole again;
Thankful for the love and grace
That made her free from sin.

This woman that so lovingly
Poured on Jesus' feet
Offered him her sacrifice
Who made her life complete.

Our alabaster boxes;
Our hearts with holy treasure
Are broken, poured out for the Lord
And bring the Master pleasure.

Broken for a sinful world
And for the harvest white
To take the gospel to the lands
And carry forth His light.

This fire that consumes my soul
And lights the path I take
May it bring You honor ,Lord
For the Kingdom’s sake.
