Twilight Sky
The stars in the sky start twinkling
The moon turns up in a smile
Your awesome wonder fills my heart
As I rest in Your Spirit awhile
Thank You Lord for the beauty
That fills this earth of Yours
The majesty of Your creation
From the plains to the ocean’s shores
Bless us indeed dear Saviour
Bless this earth, the land we trod
Help us to be good stewards
To realize You alone are our God
Tonight somewhere in the twilight sky
A soldier cries out for Your grace
Keep him safe and comfort him
Hold him in Your loving embrace
A mother cries for her lost child
While a child cries for her mother
Help them see there is always peace
In You Lord, and none other
A lonely wife weeps for her husband
Who has left her to be with You
A father weeps for his only son
Who’s the soldier crying out to You, too.
So many hearts are broken and hurting
So many are alone in the night
I pray for all who need comfort
Somewhere across the skies twilight….

Somewhere across the skies twilight….Yes, there are many that are hurting. This is a good prayer for all. My neighbour has just lost her sister. She is grieving, as they were very close. Thanks Julie.
