Heavenly Father, I prepare for battle
by dressing myself in Your spiritual armor.
So I might withstand the wiles of the enemy,
and be protected from Satan’s schemes.

I girdle myself with the garment of truth
to help me stand firm on your Word.
So I will not be a victim of Satan’s lies,
and be anchored in the truth of the gospel.

I put on the breastplate of righteousness
to protect and shield my heart from evil.
So I will remain pure and holy in your sight.
and unstained by the evil of the world.

I put on the well-fitted shoes of Peace
that I may be able to stand firm.
So your peace will surround me
and be a light to brighten my way.

I take the shield of faith to protect me
against the fiery darts of the enemy.
So I wont be vulnerable to Satan’s attacks
and will not experience spiritual defeat.

I put on the helmet of salvation
to keep my mind focused heavenward.
So Satan will be hindered
from placing strongholds on my thoughts.

I take the sword of the Spirit
and hold it firmly in my hands,
as a weapon to fight the evil one
and expose the deceitfulness of Satan.

By faith Lord, your warrior
have put on your armor with all its weapons
Now I am equipped and prepared
to live this day in spiritual victory!
